Andrew HubatsekAndrew Hubatsek has been a member of the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble since 2000 performing in well over a hundred roles from Peter Pan to Shakespeare's Hamlet. Before that he worked out of the New York area with theatre companies such as National Actor's Theatre, Arden Party, Riverside Shakespeare Company and The Whole Theatre.

In the deep 80's he had film roles in Kathryn Bigelow's Blue Steel and Stephen King's Pet Sematary as Zelda, directed by Mary Lambert. He also toured solo shows to Pennsylvania schools with Rand Whipple's Learning Tomorrow.

He has written, as well as directed BTE's Theatre In the Classroom (TIC) tours : Ancient Thunder; the Greek Myths; The Life of William Penn; Life in the Year 1000, and performed in a score of others.

Mainstage directing at BTE includes: Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberly; Jessica Dickey's Row After Row; One Slight Hitch, Moon Over Buffalo; Jon Jory's adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma; A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings; The Merchant of Venice; Rain, Some Fish, No Elephants; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Roles include Prospero in The Tempest, Septimus in Arcadia, Mike in Good People, Charlie in The Foreigner, Lucius in The Explorer's Club, Ed Boone in Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Yvan in Art, Charles in Blithe Spirit, Dorian in Opus, Renfield in Dracula, Jzck in Incorruptible, Leo in In the Next Room, and Max in Superior Donuts/Max.

Andrew also works as a Simulated Patient for the Education Department at Geisinger/Danville and helped to pilot a Simulated Patient program for Sarah Lawrence College.
