Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble Announces Auditions for 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe'

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – BTE is pleased to announce an audition date for this summer's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Auditions for children and teens ages 8 and older will be held on April 23rd at the Alvina Krause Theatre, 226 Center Street, Bloomsburg. The doors will open at 9:30am, and auditions will begin at 10:00am. All participants must be masked.

To audition for the play, potential cast members must have had their first COVID vaccination by the audition date and must present their vaccine card upon registering that morning. Everyone cast in the show will be required to be fully vaccinated by the beginning of rehearsals on June 13th. BTE follows the current CDC guidance as to what constitutes 'fully vaccinated' per age group.

Everyone auditioning must present a short, memorized monologue (also known as a 'side'). These can be found on BTE's website at www.bte.org/summer. No callbacks will be posted publicly, and every participant will receive notification after the casting is complete.

Cast members must be available for rehearsals beginning June 13th and performances running from July 14th through July 31st. Any questions can be emailed to communications@bte.org.
