Set during the Florida Real Estate boom of the 1920s, "Daddy Tightwad" is a re-imagining of Moliere's comic classic The Miser by BTE member James Goode. Daddy Tightwad, is a perfect antidote to your stay-at-home-blues.

Can love conquer all, or is it merely madness? Banished to a forest, fair Rosalind chances to meet love-struck-dumb Orlando wandering there. Will they live happily ever after in spite of death threats, battling dukes, confused identities, questionable poetry, and the odd wrestling match?

The story of life in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania as told through two-hundred years of letters written to the editors of local newspapers. By turns funny, poignant, infuriating, and thought provoking, this original work by the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble has been compared with Thornton Wilder's Our Town for the truths it tells about American life. It received national attention as the result of coverage on NPR's All Things Considered.
