Development Coordinator

Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble is looking for a Development Coordinator to assist in executing fundraising strategies for BTE. The ideal candidate will be self–motivated, work well under pressure, and possess positive and creative energy.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements: Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills, computer savvy & comfort with various software interfaces.

Preferred: event planning experience, a sense of humor, and a love of the performing arts.

House Manager

BTE seeks a part-time Front of House Manager. If you enjoy the arts and like being around creative people this might be just the part-time job for you. It does require some weekend work on some weekends during the year. We need you to manage front of house operations for performances and events, including usher supervision, volunteer liaison and concessions management. Our ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, good supervisory skills, and some retail experience. Passion for live theatre or the arts would be a great advantage. Starts mid-September.

Shop Assistant

Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble is looking for a part-time shop assistant. We're looking for someone who is a self-motivated team player. If you enjoy the arts, this is a bonus. We'll ask you to help us create and build sets, as well as perform other shop duties. Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, some work at heights of 20 feet. Wood shop skills, including table saw, chop saw, router, planer, and some painting skills preferred. This is a 25 hours/week at $11/hour position. Starts October 5th.
