Theatre School

BTE Theatre School offers a range of classes, workshops, and camps designed to teach the fundamentals of the theater arts on an age-appropriate basis: critical reading, aesthetic analysis, creative thinking and problem solving, collaboration, theatre technology, oral interpretation, movement, and more.

  • Improv | June 10th- 14th

  • Musical Theatre | June 17th-21st

    (Ages5-8) 10am-12pm

    Take your Musical Theatre knowledge to the next level with this beginnger based camp.

  • Acting Studio | June 24th-28th

    (Ages 9-12) 10am-1pm

    (Ages 13-18) 2-5pm

    Dive deep into the world of acting and the methods needed to perform successfully.

  • Velveteen Rabbit Story Hour| July 8-12th

    (Ages 5-8) 10am-12pm

    Enter the world of the Velveteen Rabbit and learn how to tell a story as well as enjoy them.

  • Scriptwriting | July 8-12th

    (Ages 9-12) 2-5pm

    Draft up an original work with the guidance of your camp teachers.

  • Stage Combat | July 15th-19th

    (Ages 12+) 10am-12pm

    En garde! Learn the basics of stage combat in this fun camp.

  • Acting Basics | July 15th-19th

    (Ages 5-8) - 2-4pm

    Learn the basics of acting in the engaging and entertaining camp.

  • Play Crafters | July 22nd-26th

    (ages 9-14) 10am-4pm

    Dive deep into the world of theatre and learn all it takes to put on a play. (Performance at the end of this camp.)

  • Makeup Classes | July 29th-Aug 2nd

    (Ages 12+)

    Makeup Mayhem 1-3pm

    Gore Galore 1-4pm

    Learn techniques to successfully pull off some of the grossest special effects in the theatre business.
