Get ready for a wild adventure at Wayside School! This laugh-out-loud play, inspired by Louis Sachar’s beloved book series, takes you to a school like no other. It's thirty stories high... or is it? But don't be fooled, things are far from ordinary! With teachers turning students into apples and even a mysterious cow hiding in the halls, nothing is quite as it seems. Join us for a zany, fun-filled experience where the unexpected is just part of the day at this wacky, wonderful school. Perfect for families, this show promises to keep everyone guessing and giggling!

Community Youth Auditions:

Who wants to go to summer school?!?!?

We’re looking for young community actors to play the roles of Wayside students Myron, Bebe, Leslie, Rondi, Dameon, and Sammy. This is a double-cast production, meaning performances rotate between two casts. There are plenty of opportunities for everyone! Before signing up for an audition, please review the Actors’ Schedule to see if your summer plans are compatible as every actor will be called to all rehearsals.

AUDTION DETAILS:

DATE: March 1st
TIMES: 10 AM–1 PM
AGES: 8-18
LOCATION: Mitrani Production Center at 166 E. Pine Avenue
WHAT TO PREPARE: Memorize one of two audition monologues.

CALLBACKS: March 1st, 2-4 PM.
Callbacks will be announced immediately following your audition. Callbacks will consist of scenes and do not need to be memorized.
